Lord of the Rings Extended Blu-ray Details, Possible Street Date

"The highly-anticipated Blu-ray release of the extended edition of The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy doesn't have an official announcement yet, but retailers are revealing further release details, including special features and number of discs. Also, according to Canadian retailer Futureshop, it will come out on June 28....

E' risaputo che da noi in estate non si batte chiodo!
Secondo me, visto l'andazzo italiano... non si arrischieranno a bruciare l'uscita!l

Personalmente, aspettando il BOX HD, prenderò quest'uscita quando si troverà a € 29.90
Avendo già le "Extended" in DVD, il solo upgrade audio/video, non mi giustificherebbe l'esborso di circa 100 Euro!

Scusa l'ignoranza, per HD cosa intendi!!! cioè essendo un BD è logico che sia in HD...ma forse sigifica altro

Tutti i dettagli dell'edizione estesa del Signore degli Anelli in Blu-Ray!

La Warner Bros. ha annunciato ufficialmente l'uscita (negli Stati Uniti) del cofanetto Il Signore degli Anelli - Limited Extended Edition, l'edizione estesa della trilogia di Peter Jackson in alta definizione.

La data di uscita americana (e speriamo anche Italiana) è fissata per il 28 giugno: il cofanetto conterrà 15 dischi, di cui sei Blu-Ray Disc (due per ogni film in edizione estesa). Oltre ai film in alta definizione, i contenuti inediti per chi già possiede le edizioni estese in DVD sono i tre documentari di Costa Botes: uno sguardo dietro le quinte della realizzazione della saga con gli occhi di un noto regista neozelandese (inclusi in una limited edition delle edizioni cinematografiche in DVD qualche anno fa).

I film verranno presentati con un audio inglese in 6.1 DTS-HD MA, per la Compagnia dell'Anello l'audio sarà una rimasterizzazione dei file originali in 2K.

Venendo all'edizione italiana, abbiamo appena sentito i responsabili Medusa, che ci hanno confermato che anche per la nostra penisola l'uscita del cofanetto "Extended" è prevista per il 28 giugno. Anche in Italia l'edizione prevede 15 dischi, ma ci vorrà anche qualche giorno per avere tutti i dettagli tecnici, mentre i contenuti speciali dovrebbero essere gli stessi dell'edizione USA.

Credo che la Medusa, oltre al lavoro di synch dei sub e della traccia audio (speriamo in un DTS-HD MA) non debba fare.
Sarebbe assurdo, che si perdano pezzi per strada visto che non e' altro che un semplice porting dalla release DVD!

EDIT: Piuttosto, penso che la Warner lo rilasci a Giugno, per non incappare nell'autunno di STAR WARS

Magari... purtroppo dovrebbe essere così per qualsiasi film che arriva nelle loro mani; invece, per motivi che credo abbiamo già dibattuto, nel 99% dei casi escono senza sub . Io ci spero ancora, dato che nelle extended i sub inglesi sono presenti.

Ti ripeto e' un porting, puro e semplice. Non ci dovrebbero essere sorprese rispetto ai dvd.
A confermarlo e' proprio il fatto che la versione USA ha i sub: questo perche' ISDA e' diventato "Warner" dopo che i dvd erano stati pubblicati. Quindi, non si sono occupati loro dell'authoring (fortunatamente!).

PS: Piuttosto leggo del prezzo ! 100 Euro ?! Che ladrata! Tanto per la cronaca, Zavvi in UK lo prezza a 50 sterle !

EDIT: A sto punto, il mio pensiero va a LO HOBBIT, che essendo Warner perderà "sicuramente" i sub ai bellissimi commenti al film che faranno PJ e gli altri
