Salve a tutti, ho preso ieri in offerta un lettore bd e hd-dvd LG(super-multi blue) per il mio pc, da usare per sfruttare bene il mio nuovo monitor 26" lcd 16:10 Samsung della serie Syncmaster (che uso in coppia con un 20" asus, che avevo da prima, sempre lcd wide). Come ovvio ho anche preso il mio primo titolo blu-ray, un po' alla cieca (senza aver letto opinioni precedenti) e con poca scelta a disposizione a dire il vero: Quasi Famosi "extended cut".
Tornato a casa, e montato con relativa facilità il tutto, constato presto un ostacolo che mi ha attanagliato per l'intera serata: powerdvd ultra, in dotazione con il lettore/masterizzatore in questione, non mi permette IN ALCUN MODO di controllare il menu del titolo: mouse non funziona (e so che alcuni titoli bd non ne permettono l'uso) ma neanche la tastiera o la selezione tramite i controlli del software (l'emulatore del telecomando, diciamo). Niente da fare! sono condannato a vedere il menu per sempre. Ho provato a smanettare con i settaggi e cercare su internet ma non ho trovato soluzione, ho provato a scaricare il trial di windvd 9 ma quello neanche il menu mi fa partire... Ho aggiornato il firmware e il software, ma non c'è verso.
Più tardi mi procurerò un altro titolo (magari anche un hd-dvd, se si trovano ancora in giro) per constatare se si tratta di un problema generale o meno. Se nel frattempo qualcuno di voi vorrà darmi una dritta a riguardo sarei molto grato!

certo potrebbero mettere un messaggio che spiega questo quando si tenta di far leggere un bd... esiste altro software in giro con cui posso tentare di leggere il bd senza doverlo per forza comprare (approposito, windvd è meglio o peggio di powerdvd per l'hd?)? Oggi alla fine non sono riuscito a comprare un altro titolo (incredibile, devo per forza andare a sbattere in un centro commerciale o aspettare la spediizione tramite internet shop, i negozietti intorno casa ne sono sprovvisti, e dire che sono in una zona teoricamente florida e commerciale di Roma... ), quindi ancora rimarrò nel dilemma.. domani passerò da euronics prima di andare al lavoro...
Allora riassumendo, esiste un software di prova che non sia pdvd per i blu-ray? E nessuno ha sentito parlare di questo problema con il controllo del menu dei titoli (ho letto che a volte accade, in altri forum, ma dicono anche che funziona usando la tastiera, piuttosto che il mouse, invece qui non funge neanche tramite tastiera)? Potrebbe essere, per vostra esperienza, un problema specifico del titolo (premetto che con i normali dvd questa versione di powerdvd funziona a dovere)? Grazie!

ok, ho risolto, praticamente pare che alcuni titoli, come questo, che non supportano il mouse, non fungono per niente con power dvd (cioè, non si va oltre il menu', peraltro ho visto che ci sono altri blu-ray che almeno, sfruttando la cosa del pop-up menu, partono in automatico con il film, non è questo il caso), mentre con windvd e la tastiera è ok. Oggi infatti ho preso un altro titolo (Edward Mani di Forbice, approposito, come mai manca la recensione? la posso fare io? ) e va una meraviglia anche col mouse con entrambi i software.
